Marshall is now 7 months old!
I am married to a wonderful man! Dave has given me more then I ever thought I might have. I get to stay at home with my kids. He has encouraged me every step of the way with my photography business. He works so hard and really asks for so little in return. At the moment he works at News Channel 3 full time and attends Cooley Law School part time. He is set to graduate this December 2013, and if he keeps going at the rate he is now, he will graduate in the top 3 of his class!!
As for professionally, I've been shooting for a little more then 6 years now. I started out with a fairly expensive point and shoot, and once I felt like I was getting good enough I invested in my first DSLR. Slowly but surely I upgraded lenses and worked on my craft and eventually upgraded my camera again. Its only been in the last couple years that I've felt that I have finally hit a point in my career that I have found my style. It was a huge learning curve. I had no professional training, no schooling. Everything I learned was either from trial and error, the internet, photog friends, and my husband who taught me a lot about lighting.
I love my job. I love my home life. I may complain a lot about being busy and the kids driving me crazy and the hubby never being home. But I honestly wouldn't change a thing. Well, it would be nice to have the hubby home more often.
I hope to share many more things with you all. Both personally and photography!
